The problem of drinking water quality is critical public health concern in Ethiopia which poor sanitation and the use contaminated are blamed for 80% disease cases. This very important monitoring supply to identify address any potential contaminants as well investment infrastructures treatment technology that can improve quality. review aimed evaluate based on concentration status physicochemical bacteriological parameters its risk factors. Different studies most parts indicated meet prescribed standard limit, but some Ethiopia, did not standard. Accordingly, an overall coliform count different areas was at risk. Microbiological implications country showed considerable amounts were tainted with E. coli fecal coliforms, existence dangerous pathogens. issues several significantly influenced by handling practices. Consequently, proper practices both source point essential have a safe thereby protect health. In order guarantee people access clean water. review’s findings underscore urgent need enhanced Ethiopia.
